WW1 Centenary truck supporting Help for Heroes plus exciting competition to win a WW1 tour of the Battlefields for 2 people

Staff at Whitkirk’s have chosen Help for Heroes as their Charity of the Year for 2019 and voted to decorate a striking poppy livery on a new Mercedes Tractor unit and Clayton Vallelly vacuum tanker in honour of marking the centenary of the end of World War 1.

It seemed appropriate that the vehicle which entered the fleet during the week of the Centenary Remembrance celebrations, was decorated with hundreds of poppies as if they were fluttering in the wind. Signs Express York completed the signwriting task.

The striking design will certainly will help to raise awareness amongst other road users and help to promote this amazing charity. Help for Heroes provide recovery and support for the armed forces community whose lives are affected by their service, no matter when they served.
