Specialised tankering in glass-lined barrels

Whitkirk operate several glass-lined barrels for more the specialised transportation of higher strength hazardous wastes such as acids >10% and spent HCL. 

Our ADR drivers hold the appropriate category licences, with ADR specified and fully equipped vehicles and safety equipment.

When we transport hazardous waste we utilise our retained Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor, we can produce consignment notes if required, and supply experienced and fully trained ADR drivers to transport solvents, paints, oils, SLF's and the like.

In a distinct and bold livery, each tanker proudly sports the Whitkirk Waste brand identity and is complemented by our drivers’ company uniform.  Every Whitkirk driver carries an ID card to re-assure sensitive site customers of maximum security.

We understand that transporting hazardous waste is dangerous and can only be undertaken by experts, properly qualified in the EU Hazardous Goods Regulations.  

For total peace of mind, we subscribe to NCEC - National Chemical Emergency Centre for operation of our ADR fleet of vehicles.  This is an industry recognised 24 hour / 365 emergency helpline who can be contacted in the unlikely event of an incident occuring with one of our loaded ADR vehicles.  This support line advises the Emergency Services on how to deal safely with the relevant ADR waste on board the tanker.
